Since its inception, Electro-Prep has been a company built on high quality standards and committed to growth.
It was established in 1977 by James Anderson in the basement and garage of his home in East Falmouth, Massachusetts. In May 1979 it was incorporated and moved to larger facilities in Cataumet on Cape Cod in Massachusetts. In 1987, Richard Sullivan purchased and reorganized the company and by 1989, it was consolidated with N.E.D. Cable, a manufacturer and distributor of computer cables. At that time, Electro-Prep moved to a new and larger facility in Wareham, MA where it resides today.
In January 1998, it was sold to Skip Sullivan, the current owner and president, and in July 2004, expanded again by absorbing an adjoining facility.
Currently, the Electro-Prep team is forty people strong and growing. We work with numerous industries including electronic instrument manufacturers in the medical, military, process control, industrial, and commercial industries. Most of our work is custom built per blueprint and customer specification. Materials can be supplied turn-key or on consignment. Our Kanban delivery system is a particular specialty.
